For the past 30 years, I have been a volunteer coach and mentor for the youth of our parish. I have coached Holy Family sports, Westside Recreational baseball, KC and WBR biddy basketball l and served as a “Big Buddy” for the Miracle League in Baton Rouge.
I have attended numerous law enforcement schools covering the categories of law enforcement management, firearms training, homicide investigations, as well as interview and interrogation. In 2009, I was selected and graduated from the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia. The National Academy is a 10-week professional course of study for law enforcement leaders and managers that improves the administration of justice in law enforcement agencies across the US and abroad.
I believe that accountability is of utmost importance. Not only does it build trust with the community, but it also ensures that the sheriff's office operates transparently and ethically. By being accountable, we can maintain the public's faith in law enforcement and create a safer community for all
If we join together and make our voices heard, we can fight for the change we want to see!
